Deborah Winterhalter is President and founding principal of The Grace Financial Planning Company, a Registered  Investment Advisory firm located in Warrenville, Illinois. We believe everyone should have access to truly independent, professional financial advice regardless of income level or net worth.  We understand that every person is unique and every situation is different.  We are committed to finding answers that work for you.  Financial planning can help motivate you to create the kind of life you want to live, get organized, reduce stress and feel more in control of your personal and financial situation.

Deborah is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.  She has earned the right to use the CFP(R) mark of distinction by completing a professional educational curriculum, passing the rigorous 2-day, 10-hour certification examination and by providing proof of extensive practical experience.  To maintain the certification, CFP(R) practitioners are required to satisfy ongoing ethics and continuing education requirements.

Deborah is a NAPFA Registered Financial Advisor. She adheres to their Fiduciary Oath, the committment to provide fee-only financial planning and to meeting NAPFA's continuing education requirements.

Deborah is a member of  the following networks: The Garrett Planning Network, an international network of professional, Fee-Only financial advisors dedicated to providing advice on an hourly, as-need basis; and The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), a premier network of fee-only financial advisors. In addition, her commitment to continuing education keeps her current on new laws, financial planning and investment ideas.  She subscribes to numerous trade, personal finance and investment publications.

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and has also earned a Certificate for successfully completing the H&R Block Income Tax Course and exam.
